Welllll, I stand corrected in both LCS'. But I'm making a bold prediction that will give me back some credibility. The Rangers will sweep. Their team is all in all much stronger than I assumed. Everyone knows what assuming does, and I was a big ass in the last series. But on an obvious note the Rangers offense is much stronger than the Giants. It's what they were built upon over the past decade. They've been known to slug people out but they've never had the staff to do it.
Cliff Lee squares off against The Freak in game one and I can't see Lee cooling down in the slightest bit. The rest of the rotation has the Giants beat with their run support. If the Giants are held to 4 runs or fewer, Texas is almost guaranteed a win. Big bat to look for in this series is Ian Kinsler. If he shows up with his bat, Texas will roll big time. On the other hand, I think Buster Posey was a big factor in the last series. He has alot of big at bats under his belt now, and he needs to carry the Giants a little as a rookie. There isn't much pop in their line-up, but they seem to spark up when he gets goin.

Meh. I think homefield is huge in this series. Rangers won't be able to outslug them in Pac Bell, AT&T or whatever the hell they call that park now.
ReplyDeleteI'll say Giants in 7.
