THEO!
I didn't see Crawford coming at all. I saw a first basemen coming, but not Adrian. I had so many doubts about the front office last season. We made no moves. Goes to show you how big timing is. I have no reasons to think we won't add something unreal next season. We're just waiting to sign a big time catcher. Its all about timing with Theo and I love it. Heres some concerns that come up with the big moves:
Adrian: I saw a first basemen coming when I heard a mention of Youk moving to third. It made alot of sense with Beltre asking for that contract with only one or two good years under his belt. I just don't know what's going to happen with Lars Anderson now. I see him being a big time player in the show. I wanted to see his career play out but you can't deny Adrian at all. Hes the best player in the bigs with runners in scoring posish. This is real serious bait for trade. I can see something working out for a catcher, or even a monster shortstop where we ship out a few players. Maybe Jacoby, Lars, and someone big like Clay for Hanley Ramirez. There's too many options for something good not to happen.
Big Carl: Point one: The so good to see you status' aren't original when person #50 writes it. To business, this is self explanatory. Just a perfect move for an all around great player. He doesn't hit home runs, but he's on second base before you can blink after a single. I dont know what's going to happen with Jacoby this year. Hes just injury prone. Im not sure if I can see him go, he does bring the ladies to Fenway. Hell, those eyes make me want to get seat upgrades everytime I go.
Pitching: The bullpen has a few issues. I mean if you look at our team right now were already stacked. Imagine throwing in a couple good middle relievers. Imagine Cliff Lee? I don't know why Grienke wouldn't want to come to the biggest city in America. I don't see the appeal to New York. We have brick roads here. It doesnt smell like shit. And our corner hot dogs are gourmet compared to NY.
Anyways, Theo moved up to the number one spot on the list of "eo's". Inception sucked anyways.
